Here is Evie pretty soon after delivery in a perfect "Bradley Method" position. Matt and I read up on the Bradley Method and I think without reading the book together we never would have been able to experience 'natural' childbirth. More knowledge was empowering and took away most fears and increased our confidence. I keep thinking that any form of labor/delivery takes a huge amount of courage. It takes a lot of courage to get an epidural in your spine, to undergo a c-section surgery, or to experience the pain without drugs. But, next time, I think I"ll opt for the courage it takes to get an epidural!
