Just a Peek

It's been too long since I posted a new pix! Simon needs a haircut!!! I wonder how long we can wait on that! Timmy stayed for a few days while his parents were in India. Simon thoroughly enjoyed waking to a full day of fellowship. Sharing is becoming a new focus for us as Simon was thrown into "brotherhood" and the sharing of food, baths, toys, and mommy and daddy's attention.

Simon's Days

Lorena poses :)
Simon and Lorena explore.
Simon crashes in on Sarah's reading time.
Simon and Alex pause momentarily for a picture.
I went in Simon's room this a.m. with the phone and woke him up. His foot had apparently been 'through' the book all night.

Outside on the Farm

Pictures outside in Pendleton; it was such a beautiful, crisp day.
The picture of Alex is next to the table from which I took my first steps on a Christmas Eve, in 1979.
Sadly enough (just kidding), we know the crazy guy in the last picture.

Christmas Again

These are all from pictures that mom took on her 35mm and then gave me a cd of the pictures. The picture of Simon on the train is from one of the weekends he stayed with Gigi and Pops. He LOVES to ride the train at the mail and he LOVES the car strollers that you can 'rent' at the mall. This is all second-hand information, but I hear it from a reliable source. Apparently, he becomes Mr.Social on the train, beckoning other children to sit next to him as he pats the seat beside him.

The side-long devilish look that Simon has in the pix of Alex reminds me of a similar facial expression that we captured last year on film. Priceless. Also priceless is the rubber chicken on the carpet.

I am wearing my Pendleton hoodie with pride; it was my cousin Jessie's old hoodie. I feel very connected to my Pendleton heritage now.

Alex looks older as he poses so nicely on the stairs. He has a cold right now, so we hope he feels better soon!!

More Pix

This picture makes me laugh.
I can't believe I will be 28 (I think) on Monday. I guess I could do the math -- 1979.
I pulled out a cook book for Sarah and Matt to use. Yup, I made my own cake last year. Sad.
