Some Pictures from the Southeast United States

Evelyn Grace and her great-grandfather
Evie really enjoyed wearing this dress. It was so cute - she could tell it was special and would twirl around in it. I took this picture because it looked like she was patting the seat next to her and wanting someone to sit there. Then, I snapped the next picture - right after she went and hugged Simon from the back, trying to get him to join her on the stairs.
Simon didn't understand Evie's voiceless pleas, but he did turn around from the dual Nintendo DS to at least look at her ...
Edible Evie-Grace
Look Twice -- this picture is NOT of Simon. This is his cousin Alex!
Matt and Corey took Alex and Simon fishing the morning of Stephanie's wedding. They saw the groom and a couple of groomsmen out on some boats fishing, too.
This is Simon not so happy because Alex had caught a fish and he hadn't. Simon did catch two fish though on an earlier day!
My cousin Steph getting married. Jessie Leigh is the maid of honor!
My boys
Evie in all of her adorable personality
She knows she has your attention ...
She was imitating either a dog or a monkey here ...
Alex, Evie, and Simon
Will you still love me? Will you still feed me, when I'm 64?
Simon bonding with the creek
It was great to get outside and let the kids play!
Simon and I didn't venture out too far - I wasn't brave enough for the rapids!
Simon is protecting his castle. These pic are from my grandparents home in Pendleton, SC.
Escaping munchkies.
We met my sister Kelly and her family at the park where they were camping. We kept their youngest that night and they kept Simon so he could 'camp.' I'm not sure if you can really call a camper with air conditioning camping ...
Evie in some more of her cuteness.
The camper that was given to Kelly and Corey!
Up to something ....
The non-rapide and non-rapids
Beautiful! Kelly and Corey live 30 minutes from here, and it is only 40 min from where we were staying in Pendleton. Corey is a professor at Toccoa Falls Christian College in Georgia and is off this summer so they are doing a lot of camping with their boys.
A suspension bridge! Simon was excited!
Um, Simon, it's not a race.

Matt, Simon, and Simon's greatgrandpa goin' fishin
They have a lake behind their place with fish that is edible! I say 'edible' because I wouldn't eat most fish caught in lakes near us .... We had fresh fried fish a couple of days.
I have pictures of my sister and I in these same chairs when we were little.
Ready? Set?
GO!
