More Pictures

My sister's son Blaize took a 2 hours plus nap on our grandfather.
He slept as well.
I can't imagine Evie EVER sleeping like this, not in her bed at least.  Maybe her carseat, but she LOVES a crib or pack and play for naps.

Lately I will be putting her in her bed and she almost falls out of my arms if I'm not careful because she will let go of me and put her hands behind her head in her "sleeping pose" as I lower her into the crib.

Matt took the kiddos outside while dinner at my grandparents was in the last stages of preparation.  Always good to give the kids someplace to expend energy!

Simon and Alex were able to spend some quality time together at our grandparents home in Pendleton, SC.
Stealing my heart

I had never seen broccoli growing before.

My grandfather in SC picking us some vegetables to take with us on the road.
This is one of Matt's dad's castle creations from blocks that Matt in childhood.  It looks like Evie had something to do with it ... but she didn't.

My grandma Clara Mae enjoying Evie

My cousin Sarah spent the night with us in Ringgold one night.
We enjoyed watching The Learning Channel :) and teaching her the art of Mille Borne.
Outside Matt's parents home in Ringgold.
Autumn fun.
I'm trying to find a basket that fits this wheeled base (thrift store - 50 cents) perfectly.  I'm going to paint the base to match the basket.  It has a string attached to it already.  I'm going to screw the basket into the wheeled base, and, VOILA!  a wheeled toy basket for Evie for her birthday gift.  I saw something like this in the children's bookstore at Prestonwood, hence the idea.

My grandparents enjoy their flower and vegetable gardens.

Simon hurt his foot; Matt and my grandmother fixed him a nice bandage.

So picturesque
Corey and Blaize & Matt and Evie
Bounty from my grandfather's garden - Matt's parents really appreciated all of the vegetables and cooked us a yummy meal with them.

We were all spending time outside right before our little family of four left for Asheville, NC, just 2 ish hours from my grandparents who live outside of Greenville, SC.

This picture captures Evie's beauty !
